Christmas was great this year! Christmas eve was a little long though. We did not get home until midnight. Jaxson was wild as could be and Madison was up for most of the time as well. I was a little nervous to have all of those people around her, but everyone seemed fairly healthy. First stop was Rebecca's house. They had a great dinner and Santa came.
Madison slept through it.After Rebecca's we went to Mary's. Mary always has a big Christmas Eve party and this year did not disappoint. There were a ton of people. Santa stopped by there house as well, but with the crowd of people I did not even bother getting out my camera. I knew I would not be able to get a good picture. Finally, at 12:30 we got both kids down. Jaxson woke up around 7:30am and did not want to wait for me to get the video camera ready before he ran down the hall. Nana Jacque had given Jaxson the 12 days of Christmas and we really pounded into his head that he can only open one present each day. Well that carried over to Christmas day. He would open one present and then say, "That is enough for today". We would tell him, "No, you get to open all the presents today". He would open another one and the say, "We will save that one for tomorrow right momma?" This went on for almost all of the presents at our house.

I would say he got enough but this isn't even a third of what was to come.
After we opened our presents it was time to go to Nana Jacque's. There he received so many toys they would not even fit in the picture. By the time we got to Nana's house Jaxson understood Christmas presents. He would tear into one and want to take the toys out of the box, but we would not let him. So he would rip open one and then say, "I want another". He loved opening presents. Brandon and I also received way too much. We are very lucky to have great parents. We ate breakfast there as well. About 1:00pm (Past Jaxson's nap time) our extremely tired boy decides to through a Christmas fit. I knew it was because he was exhausted, but even mentioning going home made it worse. So we told him we would go to Nana Furgy's (Mary's house) but first we were going to take a little drive. While we were driving we stopped at our house to unload the car (It was packed full of presents). Jaxson has another melt down screaming "I WANT TO GO TO NANA FURGY'S". I can laugh at it know, but in the moment this was not my most favorite part of Christmas. He did fall asleep in the car but only for 20 mins. Nana Furgy was not ready for us to stop by yet so we went back to my mom's for Christmas dinner/lunch. More great food was prepared and Jaxson was having fun with his cousins. Finally around 4:00pm we head to Nana Furgy's. Again there were too many presents.
After presents we had another great dinner. Here are some more pictures from this great holiday season.
