Christmas

Well I guess I will skip ahead to Christmas. We had a great time this year. Christmas eve was as crazy as ever. We are in charge of making sure Santa makes it to both my family's and Brandon's family's Christmas eve party. Needless to say we are always rushing around.  We started at Rachel's house where all the cousins has so much fun playing.
Shortly after dinner the big man in the red suit showed up. Most kids were extremely excited to see Santa. However the real test was if they would sit on Santa's lap. Here is a picture taken at RC Willey a couple weeks prior. So I thought we would be ok.

Jaxson gets called up first. This picture is much better than previous years.
Then it is Madison's turn. Why is it that all my children scream when they sit on Santa's lap? I mean look at Austin
After we helped Santa on his sleigh it was off to Mary's house. Mary usually has a ton of people and this year was no exception. I usually don't bring in my camera because chasing kids and all the other people. It was a lot of fun though. I usually don't see Brandon much during the party. That night Rebecca suggested that the kids stay at my mom's house. When we were growing up we would stay up all night playing games. It is some of the best memories I have! We all went to my mom's put the kids down and played the best game I can't remember the name right now but it is a mix between telephone and pictionary. I think that one point during the game we were all laughing so hard we were crying. It was a great ending to Christmas eve.
The kids sleep in until their usual 6:30-7:00 time. We went down stairs and opened my moms presents and had breakfast. After breakfast we took the kids home to see if Santa stopped by our house. Sure enough he did. We took video of the kids opening their presents at home. Jaxson received a new castle bed with a slide and Madison got a big girl bed. The kids had a blast. Later we went back to my mom's for dinner and then over to Mary's. The kids were spoiled as usual.
