The problem with taking a break from your blog is trying to play catch up. So much happens in the time that past it is almost overwhelming. This post is going to be very scattered and I apologize, but I have to start somewhere. In July we were invited up to the Ferguson annual 4th of July boating trip. It was such a blast, a little on the chilly side but a lot of fun.

We had a great time and even better food. John's family are amazing cooks! We left early for a couple different reasons but it was probably a good thing. The last night we were there I woke up with my face itching really bad. It itched the whole ride home. I thought I got bit by a spider and had an allergic reaction. I figured it would die down in a couple of days. Well my face kept swelling and swelling. I finally went to the instacare when my right eye completely swelled shut. The doctor thought I was crazy for not going in earlier. Oh well they gave me an antibiotic and sent me on my way. Here are a few pictures of my wonderful face. These pictures are actually really bad.
We had a great time though!
