Madison's blessing

 

Madison Jacque Best was blessed this previous Sunday. Feb 7, 2010 SUPER BOWL SUNDAY. We had a wonderful blessing and turn out. Thank you to all of those who came and supported us. We really appreciate it. Our church does not start until 12:30 so you think that would give us plenty of time to get ready and relax. It was the opposite for me. I was STRESSED! I don't know why there was nothing to stress over but I was. We got everyone ready a little early because I wanted to take pictures. Jaxson as always was not in the mood to take pictures but I bribed him to come downstairs and take a few.  Here is his "happy" one the rest he was pretty grumpy. You know one day Jaxson will thank me for taking his picture.

So after only about ten minutes pictures were over, and we did not get a family picture. I thought we all looked really good, maybe I will make everyone dress up again and get a picture. We got to church a little early and saved some of the rows up front. I was so excited to see my Aunt Debra, Crystal, Travis, Alicia and Afton. However I was still stressing a little so I wasn't very talkative. I just wanted the blessing to go well and then relax and talk to everyone. I think I was nervous Madison would cry the whole blessing. Which she did not. She slept the whole time. Brandon did an amazing job at the blessing, however during the middle he paused. I thought maybe he is listening for inspiration. It turns out that all the men where holding Madison's head and legs, but her bum was slowly slipping. Brandon had actually paused because he needed to readjust so our daughter would not fall. It was a great blessing though and I am so happy that I have a righteous husband who holds and honors the priesthood. Madison has been a wonderful addition to this family. After the blessing we went to my mom's where she put on a great dinner. We stayed a while and watched the super bowl. It was a great day.
