Just be grateful

Yesterday I was kind of feeling down. It was a long day at work, I was tired and still very pregnant. I had a lot of things on my mind that were stressing me. After stewing over these things and realizing I would not be able to sleep I decided I was going to get it all down on paper and just let it all out. I reached into my night stand and pulled out a pad of paper that already had notes on it. The first page said what to do when your down. Wow! that was good timing. I read all the suggestions like, listen to uplifting music, look at pictures from a happy time, there were a few others but the one that stood out was make a gratitude list. I decided instead of stewing over the negative maybe I should focus on the positive. As I wrote I could feel the burdens lift off my shoulders. What a blessing this was and an answer to my prayers. My suggestion to anyone feeling down, angry or upset, try writing a gratitude list it seemed to work for me.
