Potty Time

Jaxson was 18 months the first time he went potty. He was showing a lot of interest so I started to train him. However the daycare he was in did not have a bathroom in his room. So I decided to wait until he moved to the 2's room. Well we worked on it again and had some good days some bad. When he was wearing "big boy underwear" he would tell us 99% of the time when he needed to go. When he was in pull ups he really did not care.

Brandon and I decided we were going to send him to school in big boys. Jaxson did not do so well the first couple of times. He would have two or three accidents a day. Then we got it down to one a day. After we were so close he had another bad day. I think his teachers were kind of sick of changing him (which is totally understandable) so they started putting him back in diapers. I started losing hope and talked to his teacher saying that I would start bringing him in pull ups if she thought that was best. This totally made me feel bad thinking that Jaxson would be potty trained if I stayed home with him, because on the weekends he never had an accident. Even though I was feeling down I decided to finish out this week at school.

Wednesday I go and pick Jaxson up from school and walk over to his cubby expecting to find a bag with wet clothes. They weren't there. He had a new teacher so I asked where is clothes were. She said he had no accidents. I was about ready to jump up and down screaming I was so excited. For those who have not gone through this may think that I am crazy to be so excited that my son didn't pee his pants but I was elated. Jaxson could see my excitement too and he in turn had this huge smile on his face. Thursday he did not have any accidents either. Could this be the end to diapers?

I told myself I wouldn't put up a picture but he is so cute.
Sorry if you ever read this Jaxson
