As always he is so excited to take pictures
Here is a picture of his cute dimple
I was able to capture one "fake" smile
This one I call Reading Isaiah
Earlier I mentioned that Jaxson was supposed to read the scriptures in primary. We had practiced all week and he had a lot of it memorized. Well he did not recite it in primary. It was probably partly my fault. First, Brandon has been out of town and taking two kids all alone is a little hard. Brandon would get up once a night with Madison while I would get up the rest of the times. I would always think in my head, " I am thankful you get up once I night but I still get up three other times" This week I have realize HOW MUCH that once a night helped me. Nights are so hard without him here. Plus he makes me feel safe. Second, going to church alone, is also much harder. Usually Madison falls asleep half way through sacrament. One of us just step outside briefly to rock her. Well Jaxson did not want to come with me and Madison was not content with me rocking her siting down. Once Madison fell asleep Jaxson wanted me to tie his shoes. This was not possible since everytime I tried Madison would stir (and I did not want to deal with a cranky baby). Finally I told him to go ask the Primary president who sat two rows in front of us. I honestly didn't think he would do it, but he did. Oh well. Third, church is right during nap time and finally Jaxson is a momma's boy. Brandon usually drops Jaxson off because he needs to be tough around dad, but when mom is around he is a little more attached and emotional. Back to the original story. I sat with Jaxson who was visible getting more and more nervous. Then Madison woke up who was getting more and more upset that she was awake. The big moment comes when he is to give the scripture. We walk to the microphone he takes one step up and halfway to the second and decides he did not want to. We end up sitting back down and the whole primary says it instead. A few minutes later and both kids are very cranky and I am super tired so we get up and leave. Church is much harder alone. We go to my moms instead, where Madison decides to poop through her dress, tights and blanket, so she get to experience this

Your kids are so adorable. I can only imagine how difficult is was taking care of two, especially one being a baby. It was great for Jaxson to try, I am sure he will get through the whole thing next time. It can be scary getting up in front of the whole primary especially at 3 years old.
